Binance Co-CEO Richard Teng said in a post on X that tokenization could change how global investors access stock markets, though he added that the shift will not happen overnight. Citing data from Binance Research, Teng said the tokenized equities market is set to post 390% growth in 2026. Even with that expansion, the sector currently represents just 0.0029% of the global listed equities market, which Binance Research put at $151.9 trillion. Under the research unit’s base-case scenario, the tokenized stocks market is projected to grow from about $4.43 billion at present to roughly $349 billion by 2030. The remarks point to the large gap between the current size of tokenized equities and the broader global stock market, even as Binance Research sees substantial room for expansion over the rest of the decade.
