Binance has published a new progress update on its recovery work after the security incident, saying the zero-knowledge proof for its Oct. 31 proof-of-reserves snapshot has been generated and is now available for independent user verification. The exchange said the affected assets have been fully replenished using Binance’s own funds.
In the announcement, Binance said BTC, ETH, USDT, BNB, SOL, USDC, XRP, USD1, RLUSD and ZEC currently all have 100% reserve backing. It also said a new proof-of-reserves snapshot was completed at 08:00 on Oct. 31, 2026, Beijing time, to show users the latest state of asset reserves.
Another snapshot is scheduled for Nov. 4
Binance said it plans to generate another reserve snapshot on Nov. 4, 2026 and widen the range of covered tokens. After that, it will produce an updated full zero-knowledge proof. Because the computation workload is large, the process is expected to take about 40 to 50 hours, according to the announcement.
About 95% of affected assets have been refilled
Binance said it has completed replenishment for about 95% of the affected assets. The remaining roughly 5% that has not yet been refilled mainly consists of tokens that are not included among the top 10 by market capitalization listed above.
Binance said those assets have relatively lower market liquidity, so acquiring them at the required scale takes more time. The exchange said it is continuing to work closely with industry partners to complete purchases of the remaining assets.
More withdrawal services are expected to reopen tomorrow
On service restoration, Binance said it is also working to resume withdrawals for more networks and assets, with the next phase expected to open tomorrow. The exchange said the reopening will be gradual, and specific arrangements will be announced as soon as they are ready.
