Binance Futures said it will introduce the latest Last Price Protection, or LPP, mechanism for the TACUSDT USDⓈ-Margined perpetual contract at 19:00 on Aug. 27, 2026. The change is aimed at addressing price deviations for TAC, the token of TAC Protocol, across multiple exchanges. According to the notice cited by ChainCatcher, the LPP mechanism will be rolled out gradually through a mark price smoothing model. At the same time, the upper and lower bounds of the funding rate will be adjusted to +0.005% and -0.005%, respectively. The update applies specifically to the TACUSDT perpetual product on Binance Futures.
