Binance has revised its USD1 rewards campaign by introducing a futures-related bonus on top of the existing structure. The updated terms took effect on July 3, 2026, adding a new requirement for eligible users who hold USD1 across supported Binance accounts.
New 1.2x reward multiplier
Under the revised rules, users can receive a 1.2x reward multiplier if they maintain at least 300 USD1 in daily open interest on USD1 futures pairs. Binance said it will take hourly snapshots throughout the day and use the lowest recorded open interest to determine whether a user qualifies for the boosted rate.
If a participant’s daily open interest drops below 300 USD1, that user will still receive the standard 1x reward, but will not qualify for the enhanced multiplier for that day. In practice, this means eligibility for the bonus depends on consistently maintaining the required futures exposure rather than briefly meeting the threshold.
WLFI pool remains in place
World Liberty Financial also highlighted the update, noting that open interest is now part of the eligibility framework in the Binance USD1 campaign. Rewards will continue to be distributed from a promotional pool of 178 million WLFI tokens.
Aside from the new futures condition, Binance said the rest of the campaign structure remains unchanged. Users must still keep more than 0.01 USD1 in supported accounts to be included in reward calculations. The exchange will continue taking hourly balance snapshots, and qualifying balances will be determined after accounting for eligible liabilities.
Binance also noted that users who borrow USD1 may see their qualifying balances reduced under the existing methodology, which could lower the amount of WLFI rewards they ultimately receive.
Eligibility and compliance conditions
To receive rewards, participants must complete identity verification and reside in an eligible jurisdiction. Binance also confirmed that broker accounts remain excluded from the campaign.
The exchange added that accounts subject to restrictions or linked to dishonest activity may lose eligibility. It also said the value of distributed WLFI tokens will be based on the official Binance market closing price from one day before distribution. Binance further stated that it may change campaign rules without prior notice if legal, regulatory, or operational conditions require adjustments.
