Binance, the world's largest crypto exchange, has officially entered the prediction market arena. On May 25, 2026, the firm announced the launch of a new feature called Event Rush inside its Binance Wallet. Users can now trade tokenized outcomes of real-world events—sports matches, crypto price targets, and breaking news—using USDT, just like trading altcoins.
Tokenizing Reality: How Event Rush Works
According to the announcement, Event Rush converts each real-world event into tradable Event Tokens. For example, users buy and sell “Yes” or “No” tokens, with prices fluctuating based on market sentiment until the event settles. The system runs entirely on-chain: powered by the 42.space protocol and deployed on BNB Chain (BSC), ensuring decentralized settlement via smart contracts. Transactions use USDT directly on BSC, and no third-party account is needed—users simply open the dApp section in Binance Wallet to start.
Compliance First: KYC-Only, Region-Restricted
Following the rise of platforms like Polymarket, tokenized real-world outcomes have become one of Web3’s hottest tracks. Binance aims to dominate this space leveraging its massive wallet user base. Yet, given varying global gambling regulations, the exchange enforces strict compliance: Event Rush is exclusively available to Binance Wallet users who have completed KYC, and access will be blocked in certain jurisdictions. The company also warns that prediction market trading carries high risk, urging users to DYOR and abide by local laws.
