Binary Builders, a former core maintenance team for Cosmos SDK, is ending its independent operations, according to a social media post from co-founder Marko Baricevic on Oct. 20. Baricevic said most members of the Binary team have already joined modular blockchain network Celestia. He added that he has been involved with Celestia since the project’s early days and spoke positively about the team and what they may build together going forward. Baricevic, however, said he will not be joining Celestia with the rest of the team. Instead, he plans to take a break, recharge, and explore new ideas. With the company shutting down, Binary Builders will stop taking on new projects. Its existing validator business will be transitioned over the next few weeks and handed off to Validatus.
