Bitcoin and XRP led a broad pullback in the latest crypto trading session, with selling pressure spreading across major tokens and altcoins. Large-cap assets moved lower across the board, setting the tone for a weaker market even as a handful of smaller tokens posted outsized gains.

Bitcoin slips to $64,043.10 while XRP posts a steeper drop

Bitcoin fell 2.4% over the past 24 hours to trade at $64,043.10. Trading volume topped $33.54 billion, and its market capitalization stood near $1.28 trillion. As the largest digital asset, BTC was one of the main drivers behind the broader market decline.

XRP dropped 3.5% to $1.17, with daily trading volume nearing $2 billion and market capitalization at about $72.47 billion. Among top-ranked cryptocurrencies, XRP was one of the more notable decliners during the session, adding to the market’s negative tone.

ETH, BNB, SOL, DOGE, and HYPE all move lower

Other major cryptocurrencies also joined the downturn. Ethereum fell 3.0% to $1,733.72 while generating $14.67 billion in trading activity. BNB also lost 3.0%, slipping to $588.21.

Solana declined 2.8% to $71.23, and Dogecoin fell 2.9% to $0.08432. Hyperliquid, which had outperformed much of the market earlier, came under renewed pressure and dropped 3.4% to $70.53. TRON held up better than most large assets, though it still edged down 0.7% to $0.3201.

Smaller tokens rally as ESPORTS jumps 147.7%

While large-cap cryptocurrencies weighed on the broader market, several lower-cap tokens surged during the same session. Yooldo Games (ESPORTS) was the top performer, soaring 147.7% to $0.2003 on trading volume of more than $62 million.

o1.exchange (O) climbed 135.8% to $0.5937. Synapse (SYN) rose 85.4% to $0.0945, and Cortex (CX) gained 84.2% to $0.01728. Elsewhere, Xeffy (XEF) advanced 59.4%, Avici (AVICI) added 40.4%, Zerebro (ZEREBRO) rose 36.1%, and Yei Finance (CLO) increased 33.1%.

The session showed a split market. A small group of lower-cap tokens delivered sharp gains, but weakness in BTC, XRP, ETH, BNB, SOL, DOGE, and HYPE remained the dominant trading theme.
