BlockBeats reported on Oct. 6 that several analysts, drawing on Bitcoin’s historical price records, see a recurring timing pattern across the past four bull and bear market phases over roughly the last decade. In their breakdown, the move from a cycle low to a cycle high took about 1,064 days in both the 2015-2017 and 2018-2021 periods, while the decline from a cycle high to the next low lasted about 364 days in both the 2017-2018 and 2021-2022 stretches. Based on that framework, the report said Bitcoin’s previous bull market peaked on Oct. 7, 2025, and that the market has now formally moved out of its bear-market bottom and into a new bullish upswing. Against that backdrop, analysts have started publishing targets for this cycle’s potential top. According to BlockBeats’ roundup, analyst alicharts, using long-term charts of major crypto assets, projected a cycle top of $190,000 for Bitcoin and $8,800 for Ether. Veteran trader and chart analyst Peter Brandt said the market has likely already seen the cycle low and is now entering a new Bitcoin bull cycle, while also raising his end-2029 Bitcoin target range from $250,000-$300,000, first shared in July, to $300,000-$600,000. Trader Killa said BTC could break its all-time high between April 26 and Aug. 2, 2027.

BlockBeats reported on Oct. 6 that several analysts, using Bitcoin’s historical price records, have identified a recurring timing pattern across four bull and bear market phases over roughly the past 10 years.

In that summary, the span from the 2015 cycle low to the 2017 cycle high was about 1,064 days. The move from the 2017 cycle high to the 2018 cycle low lasted about 364 days. From the 2018 cycle low to the 2021 cycle high, the interval was again about 1,064 days. From the 2021 cycle high to the 2022 cycle low, it was about 364 days.

A new upswing is being mapped from the prior cycle pattern

The report said Bitcoin’s previous bull market peaked on Oct. 7, 2025. If the same pattern holds, Bitcoin has now officially moved out of its bear-market bottom and entered the next bull-market advance.

That has led a number of analysts to start outlining possible top levels for the current crypto bull cycle.

Analysts publish cycle-top targets for major tokens

According to a BlockBeats roundup, analyst alicharts used long-term candlestick charts of major crypto assets and, from a technical-analysis perspective, projected this cycle’s top at $190,000 for Bitcoin and $8,800 for Ether.

Veteran trader and chart analyst Peter Brandt, who was described in the report as having correctly called Bitcoin’s 2018 plunge, recently said, 「The market has very likely already seen the cycle low and is now entering a new Bitcoin bull cycle」.

Brandt also raised his expectation for Bitcoin’s next cycle top. His target range for the end of 2029 was lifted to $300,000-$600,000 from the $250,000-$300,000 range he had put forward in July this year.

Well-known trader Killa also said BTC could break its all-time high between April 26 and Aug. 2, 2027.
