Crypto prices sank across the board in a single trading session as selling pressure hit the largest assets first. Bitcoin fell 4.8% to $70,427.61, with 24-hour trading volume reaching $47.31 billion. Ethereum posted an even steeper move, dropping 6.2% to $2,178.46 on volume of $26.13 billion. The pullback in both leaders came with heavy activity, pointing to active repositioning rather than thin trading.

Major tokens slide as large caps lose momentum

XRP declined 3.8% to $1.47, while its trading volume stood at $2.91 billion. BNB slipped 3.7% to $647.96, with liquidity described as steady across exchanges. Solana also moved lower, falling 4.7% to $89.85. Dogecoin posted one of the deeper losses among major names, dropping 5.6% to $0.09458 as speculative demand cooled. Most of the large-cap complex moved in the same direction. Few names resisted the sell-off.

TRON was one of those exceptions. TRX edged up 0.3% to $0.3036, making it one of the rare gainers among top assets. That split suggests capital was not exiting the market in a uniform way, with some rotation still visible even as the broader tape weakened.

Smaller tokens diverge from the broader market

Outside the large-cap group, several smaller tokens posted outsized gains. Strategic Oil Supply (SOS) jumped 114.3% to $0.001503, topping the gainers list, though its trading volume was only $603,184. Bityuan (BTY) rose 17.9% to $0.03414, and Provenance Blockchain (HASH) added 17.2% to $0.01444. The contrast with the major coins was sharp.

Enjin Coin (ENJ) climbed 14.3% to $0.02778, supported by trading volume of more than $188 million. Sahara AI (SAHARA) also gained 14.3% to $0.02686. Alchemist AI (ALCH) advanced 12.2% to $0.08362, AI Rig Complex (ARC) rose 11.9% to $0.04236, and River (RIVER) increased 11.7% to $27.00. Large caps remained under pressure through the session, but the gains in select smaller tokens showed that capital flows were splitting rather than moving in one direction.
