Ethereum also moved lower, slipping 2.8% to $1,826.35. Its 24-hour trading volume came in at $21,461,398,263, while market capitalization stayed above $220,011,044,271, keeping ETH in the second spot by valuation. XRP declined 3.1% to $1.33, with $3,110,747,165 in daily trading volume and a market cap of about $80,957,589,990.
Large-cap cryptocurrencies moved lower across the board
BNB fell 1.4% to $589.03, posting $1,264,054,985 in daily volume and holding a market capitalization near $80,297,731,738. Solana dropped 2.7% to $76.97, with trading activity of $4,536,922,718 and a total valuation of $43,773,506,593. TRON also registered losses, as TRX slid 2.1% to $0.2815 and recorded $573,988,322 in 24-hour turnover.
Dogecoin matched Bitcoin’s percentage decline. DOGE fell 3.8% to $0.09117, while 24-hour volume reached $950,561,239 and market capitalization stood at $15,395,553,345. Price action across major assets pointed to a broad pullback rather than isolated weakness.
Mid-cap tokens posted sharp gains despite weakness in majors
Several lower-ranked tokens advanced strongly even as large-cap coins retreated. Espresso surged 93.0% to $0.1649, supported by $206,993,999 in daily trading volume. Seeker climbed 53.4% to $0.02762, with turnover of $56,879,869.
Steem rose 32.6% to $0.06179 after generating $36,794,572 in trading activity. DeXe added 19.3% to $3.18, backed by $20,613,585 in daily volume. Power Protocol gained 18.3% to $0.5349, and TRIA advanced 16.4% to $0.01788. Palladium Network increased 16.3% to $0.3922, though its trading volume was much lower at $107,672.
Not all mid-cap assets moved up. WhiteBIT Coin declined 3.4% to $47.43, with $79,373,998 recorded in 24-hour trading. During the same window, daily losses in Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP and other major cryptocurrencies stood alongside double-digit gains in selected mid-cap tokens, showing a split market performance.
