Nine Consecutive Days of Net Outflows: BlackRock IBIT Takes the Lead

Data from SoSoValue shows that on June 30 (Eastern Time), the U.S. Bitcoin spot ETF market witnessed a total net outflow of $223 million, extending the existing bearish trend to nine consecutive trading days. Among all products, BlackRock's IBIT suffered the largest single-day outflow of $212 million, accounting for 95% of the day's total. This also marks the largest daily outflow since IBIT's inception. Despite this, IBIT's cumulative net inflow remains robust at $60.254 billion.

Fidelity FBTC and Other ETF Outflows

The second-largest outflow came from Fidelity's FBTC, which recorded $10.1963 million in net outflows on the same day. In comparison, IBIT's outflow was roughly 21 times larger than FBTC's. Other Bitcoin spot ETFs experienced relatively minor capital withdrawals, and a few even posted small net inflows. The data highlights that capital exit is concentrated among the larger, more liquid funds.

Total Net Assets and Cumulative Net Inflows Remain Elevated

As of press time, the total net asset value of all Bitcoin spot ETFs stands at approximately $70.95 billion, with the ETF-to-Bitcoin market cap ratio at 6.02%. Despite the recent outflow streak, cumulative historical net inflows still amount to $51.152 billion. It is worth noting that nine consecutive days of net outflows are relatively rare in ETF history. Should this trend persist, it could exert short-term downward pressure on Bitcoin's price. However, the overall asset base above $70 billion suggests a resilient market foundation.

Market Implications and What to Watch Next

Analysts suggest that the outsized outflow from BlackRock's IBIT may be linked to institutional profit-taking or portfolio rebalancing. Moreover, the current macroeconomic landscape remains uncertain, with risk assets broadly under pressure. Whether the continuous ETF outflows signal a near-term trend reversal will require further observation of trading volume and on-chain metrics. SoSoValue will continue to track Bitcoin spot ETF capital flows to provide transparent, timely data for market participants.
