According to data from crypto analytics platform SoSoValue, U.S. Bitcoin spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) experienced significant capital outflows on June 3 (Eastern Time), with total net outflows reaching $397 million for the day.
Top ETF Outflows
Among all Bitcoin spot ETFs, BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (ticker IBIT) saw the largest single-day net outflow, totaling $342 million. Fidelity’s Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (ticker FBTC) followed with a net outflow of $54.26 million. Together, these two products accounted for roughly $396 million of the total outflows, meaning the remaining ETFs combined registered less than $7.5 million in net redemptions.
Historical Inflows Remain Robust
Despite IBIT’s sizable one-day redemption, the fund’s historical cumulative net inflows since launch remain at an impressive $62.636 billion, solidifying its position as the largest Bitcoin spot ETF by total assets. FBTC’s cumulative net inflows stand at $10.458 billion, also ranking among the top products in the market.
Overall Scale and Market Share
As of press time, the total net asset value of all Bitcoin spot ETFs was approximately $82.832 billion, representing the total market value of Bitcoin held by these funds. The ETF net asset ratio—a metric comparing ETF-held Bitcoin to the entire Bitcoin network’s market capitalization—stood at 6.36%, indicating that over 6% of all Bitcoin is now held through regulated ETF channels.
From a longer-term perspective, historical cumulative net inflows into Bitcoin spot ETFs have climbed to $54.263 billion. While daily fluctuations in fund flows are common, the overarching trend of positive net accumulation since product launches continues, reflecting sustained demand from traditional financial markets to gain Bitcoin exposure through ETF vehicles.
