ChainCatcher reported, citing SoSoValue data, that bitcoin spot ETFs recorded total net outflows of $316 million during last week’s trading days, covering the period from June 8 to June 12 Eastern Time. The data set tracks the flow of capital into and out of bitcoin spot ETF products over that trading week and also includes the historical cumulative flow figures for several major funds.
IBIT and GBTC led weekly net outflows
The bitcoin spot ETF with the largest net outflow last week was Blackrock’s ETF IBIT, which posted a weekly net outflow of $355 million. Even with that weekly outflow, IBIT’s historical cumulative net inflow stood at $62.11 billion, according to the SoSoValue figures cited in the report.
Grayscale Bitcoin Trust GBTC ranked second among bitcoin spot ETFs by weekly net outflows. GBTC recorded $87.9141 million in net outflows over the same trading week. Its historical cumulative net outflow has reached $26.85 billion, reflecting the total net flow position reported for the product up to the time of the data release.
FBTC recorded the strongest weekly inflow
On the inflow side, Fidelity’s ETF FBTC recorded the largest net inflow among bitcoin spot ETFs last week. FBTC posted $55.6961 million in weekly net inflows, while its historical cumulative net inflow reached $10.45 billion. In the SoSoValue data referenced by ChainCatcher, FBTC was the listed bitcoin spot ETF with the highest positive weekly flow for the period.
As of the time of publication, the total net asset value of bitcoin spot ETFs stood at $79.65 billion. The ETF net asset ratio, defined in the report as market value as a share of bitcoin’s total market capitalization, was 6.26%. Historical cumulative net inflows into bitcoin spot ETFs reached $53.62 billion.
