Odaily reported that analyst Darkfost said in a post on X that panic among Bitcoin short-term holders, or STHs, is becoming more visible. Over the past 24 hours, short-term holders sent more than 50,000 BTC to exchanges at the daily peak. Of that amount, more than 29,500 BTC was transferred while at a loss, accounting for about 59% of total BTC inflows. Darkfost said this marked the largest realized-loss event for short-term holders in nearly four months. He also noted that despite the scale of the loss-driven selling pressure from short-term holders, Bitcoin’s price has not shown a clear move. BTC was trading at about $82,000 at the time of the post and was retesting the previous high area formed in May this year. The update points to heavy exchange inflows from recent holders, while price action, according to the analyst, has so far remained relatively steady.
