Cryptocurrency mining giant Bitdeer released its February 2026 operational report, revealing that its self-operated hashrate reached 68 EH/s and the company mined 705 BTC during the month, representing a staggering 541% year-over-year increase. This achievement underscores Bitdeer's rapid expansion in mining capacity and operational efficiency, while its diversified business lines are beginning to yield results.
Record Hashrate and Mining Output
Bitdeer achieved this growth through continuous deployment of next-generation mining rigs and optimization of mining farm operations. The 68 EH/s figure places the company among the world's top miners, and its monthly production of 705 BTC is also industry-leading. The 541% YoY surge reflects a low base in early 2025 followed by aggressive capacity additions. The company stated that it will continue to expand hashrate through both self-built and hosted models to remain competitive in the post-halving environment.
AI Cloud Services Gain Traction
Beyond mining, Bitdeer made headway in AI cloud services. As of end-February, the company had deployed 2,096 GPUs with an annualized recurring revenue of approximately $21 million and a GPU utilization rate of 64%. With growing demand for AI training and inference, Bitdeer plans to further expand its GPU fleet to serve more enterprise clients. Management noted that AI cloud margins are higher than traditional mining and could become a key growth driver in the future.
Hosting Business and Hardware Upgrades
In hosting services, Bitdeer is advancing negotiations for major lease agreements, with several important contracts expected to close soon. Hosting provides power and infrastructure for third-party miners, representing a stable revenue stream. On the hardware front, Bitdeer's proprietary SEALMINER A4-1 miner is slated for mass production in March 2026, featuring advanced chip technology and improved energy efficiency. Additionally, the DL1 miner, designed specifically for Dogecoin (DOGE) and Litecoin (LTC) mining, will launch in Q1 2026, marking Bitdeer's entry into multi-coin PoW markets.
Industry Outlook
Bitdeer's strong performance shows that despite reduced block rewards after the Bitcoin halving, leading mining firms can maintain growth through scale, low costs, and diversification. With the upcoming mass production of the SEALMINER A4-1 and the expansion of AI cloud services, Bitdeer is well-positioned to strengthen its market standing in 2026. Investors should monitor the finalization of hosting agreements and the delivery schedule of new miners.
