Bitdeer said Tuesday that its planned AI data center in Tydal, Norway, is expected to rank among the country's largest and most energy-efficient facilities. The company has signed a 16-year lease agreement with a Volta subsidiary, generating $4.7 billion in contract revenue, with an option to extend that could bring the total to $8 billion. Nvidia is one of the backers of Volta Infra Holdings. Bitdeer also said it has delivered the first batch of Black Pearl capacity ahead of schedule and secured full financing for its Stingray development project. Shares of Bitdeer rose 14% in pre-market trading on Tuesday, according to CoinDesk.
