On June 4, digital asset trading platform Bitget officially kicked off its 2026 Global Anti-Fraud Month under the theme “More Assets, Stronger Protection: Navigating the Multi-Asset Era Safely.” As crypto assets, tokenized stocks, and artificial intelligence-powered products converge within unified trading interfaces, the security challenges faced by users have grown far more complex than in a single-asset environment. This marks the third consecutive year that Bitget has organized the safety campaign, aiming to equip global traders with stronger risk awareness as the asset mix on its platform continues to diversify.
According to data from Interpol, financial scams linked to multi-asset markets caused over $442 billion in losses worldwide in 2025. While tokenized financial products are gaining ground in mainstream trading environments, fraudsters are simultaneously upgrading their methods. Deceptions have evolved from traditional phishing and SMS spoofing to AI-generated scams, identity manipulation, and malicious smart contracts—new vectors that make it significantly harder for ordinary users to distinguish legitimate operations from fraudulent schemes.
Leadership Perspective: Interconnected Finance Demands Sharper Risk Detection
Gracy Chen, CEO of Bitget, commented at the launch that financial systems are becoming increasingly interconnected, blurring the boundaries between asset classes. While this trend delivers convenience and efficiency, it also means users must learn to identify potential dangers across more dimensions. She stressed that platforms bear the responsibility of helping users enhance their self-protection capabilities through continuous education and transparent disclosure, without compromising the user experience.
Knowledge Sharing and Cross-Industry Cooperation
Throughout the anti-fraud month, Bitget will release a series of educational articles and video content that provide in-depth analysis of emerging fraud trends in the artificial intelligence and real-world asset (RWA) sectors. These materials will spotlight common traps, typical modus operandi, and preventive steps users can take. In the later phase of the campaign, the exchange will partner with on-chain security firms, RWA issuers, and AI industry collaborators to jointly publish a dedicated anti-fraud report covering multi-asset trading and AI-related financial risks. The goal is to extend the reach of user protection and risk education well beyond the exchange’s own community.
