Bitget has rolled out what it calls the industry’s first cross-asset Unified Trading Account, or UTA, bringing more than 370 assets into a single margin pool. The lineup includes 100 tokenized U.S. stocks, referred to as rToken, which can now serve more than one function inside the platform.
Under the structure, users holding rToken assets can not only receive stock dividends tied to those positions, but also use the same assets as margin and as collateral for borrowing. Bitget said the setup is designed to improve capital efficiency by letting users deploy one pool of assets across multiple trading and financing functions.
The first batch of tokenized U.S. stock assets added to the margin system includes 100 mainstream names such as Apple (rAAPL), Nvidia (rNVDA), and Tesla (rTSLA). The exchange said haircut rates are assigned by asset tier, with the maximum reaching 95%.
Bitget added that it plans to expand the list of assets eligible for margin use and leveraged trading as the product is updated, aiming to connect liquidity between traditional financial assets and crypto trading scenarios.
Bitget has introduced what it described as the industry’s first cross-asset Unified Trading Account, or UTA, bringing more than 370 assets into a single margin pool, including 100 tokenized U.S. stocks known as rToken.
Under the mechanism, rToken holdings can do more than represent stock exposure and dividend rights. They can also be used as margin and as collateral for borrowing, a structure Bitget said is meant to improve capital efficiency.
