Bitget has introduced what it calls the first cross-asset Unified Trading Account, or UTA, in the industry, bringing more than 370 assets into a single margin pool. The rollout includes 100 tokenized U.S. stock products under its rToken line, allowing eligible holdings to be used not only as investment exposure but also as margin and collateral inside one account. According to the company, users can combine cryptocurrencies, tokenized U.S. equities and other real-world-asset-related holdings in the same account for derivatives trading, leveraged positions and collateralized borrowing. Bitget frames the product as the third stage in the evolution of unified accounts: from single-currency margin systems, to multi-crypto margin pools, and now to a cross-asset framework that includes tokenized stocks and RWA products. The company said rToken can serve three functions inside UTA: holding exposure to the underlying asset’s price performance, contributing to account margin, and being pledged to borrow stablecoins. Bitget also said the 100 supported rToken assets cover large-cap U.S. names, broad market indexes, preferred shares, technology, semiconductors, AI infrastructure, finance, consumer, energy, healthcare and communications.

Bitget has launched a cross-asset Unified Trading Account, or UTA, bringing more than 370 assets into one shared margin pool. The lineup includes 100 tokenized U.S. stock products under the rToken brand. Under the new structure, users can place cryptocurrencies, tokenized U.S. equities and RWA-related assets in the same account and use them across futures trading, leveraged trading and collateralized borrowing.

Bitget says UTA marks a third stage for unified accounts

Bitget described the launch as the third stage in the development of unified accounts. In its framing, earlier versions were centered on crypto assets, while this version expands the margin framework to include tokenized stocks, rToken products and real-world assets.

The company said the core purpose of a unified account is to let different assets inside one account be scheduled more efficiently, raising margin efficiency and trading flexibility. In prior setups, users often had capital spread across multiple accounts or positions when dealing with different coins, product lines or asset classes. Bitget said its cross-asset UTA uses a single margin pool so that eligible assets can support trading needs together, cutting down on idle capital.

By adding 100 rToken products to that shared pool, Bitget said tokenized stock holdings can do more than function as investment targets. They can also work as margin assets and collateral inside the account structure.

Three stages in the unified account model

Stage one: single-currency margin accounts

Bitget said first-generation accounts were built around one margin currency. Each position and each asset was generally settled on a standalone basis. That setup split capital across currencies and positions, leaving less flexibility and lower capital efficiency.

Stage two: multi-currency unified accounts

In the second stage, multiple crypto assets were grouped into one margin pool, allowing different cryptocurrencies in the same account to support multiple trading positions together. Bitget said that model raised the efficiency of crypto collateral usage and became a major product direction for trading platforms.

Stage three: cross-asset unified accounts

Bitget said its latest version moves beyond crypto-only collateral by placing rToken products and other RWA assets into the same margin pool. In that setup, rToken is no longer limited to being held or traded. It can also be used as margin, as collateral and as part of trading strategy allocation.

Three uses for one rToken position

Bitget said a single rToken holding inside UTA can serve three main purposes.

1. Holding tokenized U.S. stocks for exposure

Users can hold rToken to track the price performance of the related U.S. equity asset, and may receive the corresponding rights or distribution mechanism under the product rules. Bitget presented rToken as a more flexible route for users who want exposure to U.S. stock-related assets through a crypto trading environment.

2. Using rToken as account margin

Eligible rToken products can be counted directly toward margin in Bitget’s unified account and used to support futures and leveraged trading. In the original text, Bitget said users do not need to sell existing rToken holdings before putting them to work as margin.

3. Pledging rToken for borrowing

Bitget also said rToken can be used as collateral to borrow stablecoins. That gives users a way to access usable funds without selling the original position, for trading, liquidity needs or other allocation purposes.

The company summarized those functions as holding, margin use and collateralized borrowing, and said UTA turns rToken from a single-purpose investment asset into a more flexible capital management tool.

100 supported rToken products can be posted as margin and bought with leverage

Bitget said 100 tokenized U.S. stock products are now eligible to be used as margin in UTA and are also available for leveraged buying. The list spans large-cap U.S. companies, broad indexes, preferred shares, technology, semiconductors, AI infrastructure, finance, consumer, energy, healthcare and communications.

The currently supported products include:

rAAPL, rAMZN, rMETA, rMU, rTSLA, rGOOGL, rNVDA, rINTC, rMSFT, rASML, rAVGO, rTSM, rQQQ, rSPY, rSNDK, rSPCX, rSTRC, rCRCL, rDRAM, rBB, rMRVL, rGLW, rNBIS, rSMH, rLLY, rJPM, rWMT, rV, rJNJ, rXOM, rAMAT, rMA, rABBV, rCSCO, rLRCX, rCOST, rBAC, rORCL, rGE, rUNH, rHD, rPG, rMS, rCVX, rARM, rNFLX, rMSTR, rQCOM, rCOIN, rAMD, rWDC, rPLTR, rLITE, rEWY, rSOXL, rSKHY, rMRK, rNVS, rAZN, rGS, rGEV, rPM, rPANW, rRTX, rTXN, rWFC, rDELL, rLIN, rAXP, rC, rBABA, rNVO, rSHEL, rTM, rAPH, rAMGN, rANET, rMCD, rPEP, rTD, rTMO, rTMUS, rSAP, rSTX, rNEE and others.

Bitget said more assets that can be used as margin and traded with leverage will be added later to broaden coverage in the cross-asset unified account.

Risk notice

The original text says using rToken or other assets as margin, or using them as collateral for borrowing, may increase overall account leverage. If market prices swing sharply and the collateral value falls, users may face margin calls or forced liquidation.

It also notes that borrowing creates liabilities and interest costs. Users are advised to assess position size, leverage ratio and market volatility according to their own risk tolerance.
