Bitget said it made its first appearance at the 2026 Hong Kong Wiki Finance Expo and received two industry awards: "Outstanding All-Asset Innovation Platform Global" and "Leading Innovative Trading Platform Asia." The company linked the recognition to its push beyond core crypto trading into a broader UEX, or Universal Exchange, model that combines crypto, tokenized equities, commodities, forex, stock indices and other traditional financial derivatives within a single trading environment. At the event, Bitget CFD Chief Analyst Lewis Huang spoke in a keynote titled "One Account, Global Investment: The Cross-Asset Trading Revolution in the UEX Era" and joined a roundtable on institutional liquidity and the evolution of crypto markets. He said fragmented trading infrastructure, rather than a lack of strategy, has limited traders' ability to respond efficiently across markets. Huang also said the next stage of finance will come from combining Web3's speed, digital ownership and 24/7 liquidity with the depth, scale and maturity of traditional finance. Bitget added that its presence in Hong Kong was limited to industry exchange and award acceptance. Under the platform's terms of use, Hong Kong is listed as a restricted jurisdiction, and the company said the event should not be interpreted as an offer, solicitation, promotion or invitation to access Bitget products or services.

Bitget said it made its first appearance at the 2026 Hong Kong Wiki Finance Expo and received two awards at the event: “Outstanding All-Asset Innovation Platform Global” and “Leading Innovative Trading Platform Asia.” The company said the recognition reflects stronger growth in contracts for difference, or CFD, digital assets and multi-asset trading.

Two awards tied to Bitget’s multi-asset platform push

Bitget said the awards point to its expanding presence as a multi-asset trading platform. As it moves beyond the traditional cryptocurrency market, the company is promoting its UEX, or Universal Exchange, model, which combines cryptocurrencies, tokenized stocks, commodities, foreign exchange, stock indices and other traditional financial derivatives in a single trading environment.

In Bitget’s description, the model is meant to address fragmented trading infrastructure by bringing access to different markets into one environment.

Lewis Huang says market access is being held back by fragmented infrastructure

Bitget CFD Chief Analyst Lewis Huang said, “Markets are never short of opportunity, but many traders cannot respond efficiently across markets. The problem is not a lack of investment strategies, but overly fragmented trading infrastructure.”

Bitget said the awards came after a period of rapid expansion in its traditional finance product line. Beyond the award ceremony, Huang represented the company in two program sessions.

In a keynote speech titled “One Account, Global Investment: The Cross-Asset Trading Revolution in the UEX Era,” he discussed how unified market access could reshape the role of exchanges. He also took part in a roundtable, “Institutional Liquidity and the Evolution of Crypto Markets,” where he shared views on changes in liquidity, product design and market infrastructure as digital assets and traditional finance increasingly intersect.

Single-account access across asset classes

Huang said, “The future of trading should be borderless, frictionless and inclusive. When Bitcoin swings, gold surges, or central bank decisions trigger sharp moves in foreign exchange markets, traders need infrastructure that lets them react instantly from a single pool of capital, rather than moving funds through layers of operational barriers.”

He added that traders may want to place several asset classes within one portfolio strategy, yet still have to manage different apps, accounts, wallets, onboarding processes and capital pools. In his account, the UEX model folds broader market access into a single-account experience, lowering those frictions and giving users more flexibility and efficiency in cross-asset trading.

“Finance is moving toward convergence, not competition,” Huang said. “Web3 has already shown the power of speed, digital ownership and 24/7 liquidity. Traditional finance brings depth, scale and market maturity. The next chapter lies in combining the two to build a stronger financial ecosystem.”

Bitget frames the awards as recognition of its UEX strategy

Bitget said it is moving beyond product expansion alone and toward a more integrated trading model. The recognition at the 2026 Hong Kong Wiki Finance Expo, it said, marks another step in its broader UEX strategy as it builds across both digital asset markets and traditional finance markets.

Hong Kong restriction notice

Bitget said its participation in the event was limited to industry exchange and acceptance of the awards listed above. Under Bitget’s terms of use, Hong Kong is designated as a restricted jurisdiction.

The company said its appearance at the event should not be interpreted as an offer, solicitation, promotion or invitation to obtain or use any Bitget product or service. Availability of all Bitget products and services remains subject to applicable law and the jurisdictional restrictions set out in its terms of use.
