Bitget has opened the 2026 King’s Cup Global Invitational, or KCGI, expanding the event from a crypto-focused trading contest into a multi-asset competition with a 3 million USDT prize pool.
This year marks the first time KCGI has included crypto futures, TradFi perpetual contracts, and tokenized U.S. equities in the same flagship tournament. According to the event details, participants can trade across more than 600 crypto contract pairs, TradFi perpetual markets covering stocks, commodities, and precious metals, as well as spot rTokens tied to tokenized U.S. shares. Performance across those markets will be combined into a single profit-and-loss leaderboard, putting cross-asset allocation at the center of the contest.
Bitget CEO Gracy Chen said, 「KCGI has always shown the most compelling side of crypto: traders competing with each other, sharing ideas, and seeking alpha. What stands out this year is that the arena has become much broader. Crypto, gold, equities, and other markets are increasingly moving side by side, so bringing them into one competition is a natural expression of where trading is headed. It also brings the convergence with traditional finance, or TradFi, into the competitive culture that has defined the crypto market.」
UEX Arena carries 2 million USDT of the prize pool
The core of KCGI 2026 is the UEX Arena. Bitget said 2 million USDT will be distributed across five rankings: team profit, crypto contract trading volume, TradFi perpetual contract trading volume, rToken trading volume, and individual profit. The team profit competition accounts for the largest share at 1 million USDT.
The tournament also includes incentives for teams active across all three market categories. The 「UEX Pioneer」 captain reward will be ranked based on the number of eligible team members trading crypto contracts, TradFi perpetual contracts, and spot rToken equities at the same time. Additional rewards will also be available through the UEX Treasure Map, captain-exclusive incentives, early-bird benefits, and a post-settlement honor livestream.
Registration and event schedule
Bitget said the upgraded KCGI continues its 2026 Universal Exchange strategy, which aims to bring crypto markets and traditional financial markets into a single native crypto trading environment. In this format, traders are challenged to identify opportunities across different markets and shift capital as market conditions change.
Registration opened on Aug. 26. Team and individual competitions are scheduled to run from Sept. 9 through Sept. 22. Final results will be announced from Sept. 23 to Sept. 24, and a live awards ceremony will be held on Sept. 25. Participation is subject to eligibility requirements and regional restrictions.
