Bitget said the 2026 King’s Cup Global Invitational, or KCGI, is now underway. The company said the event has already drawn 37,148 traders and 1,347 teams, with competition covering crypto futures, traditional finance, or TradFi, perpetual products, and spot stocks through rToken.
After a two-week sign-up and team formation period, traders can now enter the competition and compete for a total prize pool of 3 million USDT through Sept. 22.
KCGI expands into TradFi and rToken markets
This year’s KCGI broadens its scope beyond crypto markets into traditional finance-linked products. Teams can compete through more than 600 crypto futures pairs, TradFi perpetual contracts tied to stocks, commodities and precious metals, as well as the spot stock market through rToken.
Bitget said KCGI 2026 brings its Universal Exchange, or UEX, model into a tournament setting, allowing traders to access multiple asset classes on one platform as market opportunities shift between crypto and traditional markets.
Bitget CEO Gracy Chen said, 「KCGI has always been a stage for traders to compete, and this year the scope is much broader. More than 37,000 traders have already joined, and crypto, stocks, gold and other markets are all included. As opportunities move across markets, traders can adjust with them, which is what makes this year’s event particularly exciting.」
UEX Arena opens five leaderboards
The core section of the competition, called UEX Arena, has opened five leaderboards with a combined 2 million USDT in rewards.
- The top 30 teams by profit and loss will compete for 1 million USDT.
- The crypto futures volume leaderboard carries 300,000 USDT in rewards.
- The TradFi perpetual volume leaderboard also carries 300,000 USDT.
- The rToken volume leaderboard offers 200,000 USDT.
- The top 500 individual traders on the profit-and-loss leaderboard will share 200,000 USDT.
Team captains can also compete for an additional 100,000 USDT. Evaluation criteria include the number of active traders on a team, the number of eligible new participants and cross-asset trading participation. Bitget said the UEX Pioneer reward will recognize captains and teams that show strong engagement during the event.
UEX Treasure Map adds another reward track
Alongside UEX Arena, KCGI 2026 also includes a UEX Treasure Map campaign with rewards of up to 600,000 USDT.
Participants can collect keys by completing daily and milestone-based trading tasks, open reward-guaranteed treasure chests and gather fragments representing different asset classes. Those who complete the required fragment set and finish the treasure map can also qualify for an additional 20,000 USDT prize pool.
Competition schedule
Trading in KCGI 2026 runs from Sept. 9 at 00:00 to Sept. 22 at 23:59, UTC+8. Final results are scheduled to be announced from Sept. 23 to 24, and the livestream award ceremony is set for Sept. 25.
