Bitget has released its latest Proof of Reserves update, marking the 47th PoR report since the exchange introduced the mechanism in December 2022. Based on a snapshot taken at 09:00 UTC on Sept. 29, 2026, the platform said its overall reserve ratio stood at 131%, with every covered user asset backed above the 1:1 threshold. The latest snapshot spans 19 assets, and each posted a reserve ratio above 100%, including NEAR at 181%, XAUT at 172%, USDGO at 169%, SOL at 157%, and BTC at 142%. The company said the September update was published after the Sept. 24 security incident and offers the latest view of Bitget’s reserves to date. Bitget also said users can independently verify whether their balances are fully recorded and backed through its Merkle Tree-based verification system. In addition, the exchange said this month’s update follows an earlier expansion of PoR coverage from four cryptocurrencies to 19 major assets, extending Proof of Assets verification to all supported assets listed in the report.

Bitget has released its latest Proof of Reserves, or PoR, update, the 47th since the exchange introduced the mechanism in December 2022.

Based on an asset snapshot taken at 09:00 UTC on Sept. 29, 2026, Bitget said its overall reserve ratio was 131%, with reserves for all covered user assets remaining above the 1:1 benchmark.

All 19 covered assets were above 100%

The latest snapshot covered 19 assets, and every one of them posted a reserve ratio above 100%. NEAR stood at 181%, XAUT at 172%, USDGO at 169%, SOL at 157%, ADA at 155%, USDC at 154%, SUI at 153%, TAO at 146%, BTC and HYPE at 142%, LINK at 137%, LTC at 131%, DOGE at 130%, ONDO at 122%, ETH at 110%, PI at 109%, USDT and XRP at 107%, and BNB at 104%.

Bitget said the September update was released after the Sept. 24 security incident and provides the latest information on the platform’s reserve position. The Sept. 29 snapshot showed that all covered user assets continued to hold backing above 1:1.

Users can verify balances through a Merkle Tree system

The exchange said it will continue disclosing reserve ratios, wallet balances and cryptographic verification information, allowing users to independently confirm through a Merkle Tree-based system whether assets on the platform are fully recorded and backed. Users can also check whether their own holdings are included in the Proof of Reserves coverage.

Bitget CEO Gracy Chen said, 「When users want to inspect the data themselves, the importance of Proof of Reserves becomes especially clear. The latest snapshot gives users a transparent view of Bitget’s reserves, with an overall reserve ratio of 131% and reserve ratios above 100% for all covered assets. We have continued publishing this data since 2022, and we will keep enabling users to independently verify their assets.」

PoR coverage was expanded from four assets to 19

Bitget said the September update also continued a move made earlier this month to expand Proof of Reserves coverage from four cryptocurrencies to 19 major assets. According to the company, the change gives users access to a broader set of reserve information and extends Proof of Assets verification to all supported assets included in the report.

The company added that Proof of Reserves reflects the reserves held against covered user balances, while the Protection Fund provides an additional layer of protection for users. Bitget said these two mechanisms, together with its broader security infrastructure, form separate lines of defense for user assets.

Bitget said it will continue releasing regular PoR updates and providing access to reserve data and self-verification tools.
