U.S. stocks reached new highs earlier this week before moving into high-level consolidation, according to Bitget data cited by BlockBeats on Oct. 9. AI trading remained the main market theme, but long-end yields, oil prices and valuation pressure triggered a pullback in chip stocks. At the same time, Securitize’s launch of an on-chain U.S. equities product brought real-world assets, or RWAs, and tokenized securities back into focus.
The price ranges in the chart were estimated from the starting and ending values shown in the screenshot.
Five stocks drawing the most user attention this week
Securitize rose about 14.19% over the week. SECZ climbed, pulled back, and then moved higher again. On Oct. 8, it launched tradable tokenized U.S. stock products, with the first batch covering popular names including Apple, Microsoft, Nvidia and Alphabet. The move shifted RWA trading from concept-driven interest toward live product rollout and helped draw capital back in.
Nvidia fell about 3.75% during the week. NVDA hit a high early in the week and then retreated. The AI chip leader still served as a core support for the broader index, but the market raised its bar on valuation and on returns from AI spending. On Oct. 8, Nvidia dropped 2.9%, with AI-linked names such as Broadcom and Micron also coming under pressure.
Google gained about 1.32% for the week. GOOGL moved higher in choppy trading and held up relatively well while chip stocks pulled back. The market continued to trade on its cloud and AI infrastructure strength. A long-term power agreement announced on Oct. 6 also pointed to sustained demand for computing power and energy in the era of large models.
SVRN lost about 4.06% over the week. The stock fell first and then rebounded, but still finished below its level at the start of the week. On Oct. 8, the company acquired FastNEAR, an infrastructure provider for the NEAR Protocol, extending its business from a pure digital-asset treasury model into on-chain RPC and data services. The market is still assessing integration and commercialization.
SDEV dropped about 56.98% this week and remained under pressure throughout the period, with volatility expanding sharply. The company recently disclosed holdings of about 2.322 billion SKY tokens, equal to roughly 10% of total supply, with digital asset net value of about $180 million. But the stock is closer in nature to a digital-asset treasury vehicle with highly concentrated SKY exposure, and that single-asset concentration, combined with small-cap liquidity, amplified the risk in its share price.
