Odaily reported that, according to monitoring by on-chain analyst Yu Jin, Bitmine continued to increase its ETH holdings about five hours ago. The purchase was carried out through FalconX and involved 20,000 ETH, with a reported value of $35.85 million. The disclosed details cover the asset purchased, the amount, the execution channel and the dollar valuation of the transaction.
Gap remains to the 5% ETH holding target
Based on Yu Jin’s monitoring, Bitmine is still about 380,000 ETH away from its stated goal of holding 5% of ETH. The report valued this remaining gap at approximately $680 million. After the latest purchase of 20,000 ETH, Bitmine therefore still has a sizeable numerical gap between its current position and the referenced ETH holding target.
The news item did not provide Bitmine’s current total ETH holdings, nor did it disclose any future purchase schedule, transaction timetable or additional funding information. The available information only states that Bitmine bought another 20,000 ETH through FalconX and remains about 380,000 ETH short of the 5% ETH holding target.
