Bitmine Immersion Technologies (BMNR) said on Monday that its Ethereum holdings have climbed past 5.77 million ETH, reaching 5,777,468 ETH worth about $10.8 billion under the company’s disclosure. At the same time, Bitmine said it has been carrying out its previously announced $4 billion share repurchase program, buying back 5.5 million common shares over the past week.

ETH treasury expands by 7,430 coins in a week

According to the announcement, Bitmine added another 7,430 ETH over the past week, bringing its total Ethereum holdings to 5,777,468 ETH. The company said it has now reached 96% of its “Alchemy of 5%” target, a plan aimed at ultimately holding ETH equal to 5% of Ethereum’s circulating supply.

Bitmine said it is now the publicly traded company with the largest Ethereum holdings in the world. It also described itself as the world’s second-largest digital asset treasury company, behind Strategy (MSTR).

Other assets include BTC, equity stakes and cash

In addition to its Ethereum position, Bitmine said it holds 207 BTC, an equity stake in Beast Industries valued at about $180 million, an equity stake in Eightco Holdings valued at about $58 million, and about $385 million in cash and marketable securities.

Tom Lee links slower ETH buying to the buyback

Under the leadership of chairman Tom Lee, the well-known U.S. equity strategist, Bitmine repurchased 5.5 million common shares over the past week at an average price of $15.6156 per share.

Lee said in a statement: “The pace of Ethereum purchases slowed somewhat recently, mainly because the company was also executing the 5.5 million-share repurchase. Since launching its Ethereum treasury strategy on June 30, 2025, Bitmine has continued to buy Ethereum every week without interruption.”

About 85% of holdings are already staked

Bitmine also disclosed that about 4.92 million ETH, or roughly 85% of its total Ethereum holdings, has been staked through its MAVAN platform and third-party partners.

Based on the company’s estimate, the annualized yield from its staking business over the past seven days was about 2.67%. At the current staking scale, that would translate into about $247 million in annual staking revenue. If all of the company’s ETH is fully staked, annualized revenue could rise to about $290 million.

Staking and validation generated 98% of quarterly revenue

Bitmine said Ethereum staking has become its main source of revenue. For the latest quarter ended May 31, the company reported $45.7 million in staking and validation revenue, accounting for 98% of total revenue of $46.5 million.

According to CoinGecko pricing cited in the report, ETH was trading at $1,927 at the time of writing, up 2.5% over the past 24 hours. That still leaves the token about 62% below its all-time high of $4,946.05.
