Bitmine said on X that it has become the major U.S. listed company with the strongest correlation to Ether (ETH). Among large-cap U.S. stocks, BMNR now tracks ETH more closely than other crypto-linked names, with Coinbase (COIN) ranked second. The company’s treasury-style business model gives its share price greater sensitivity to ETH moves. The note also said that this tight linkage can magnify volatility when ETH rises or falls, since BMNR is influenced not only by its own operations but also by Ether’s price swings.

Bitmine said on X that it has become the major U.S. listed company with the highest correlation to Ether (ETH) price moves.

Among large-cap U.S. stocks, BMNR’s price correlation with ETH now ranks ahead of other crypto-related names. Coinbase (COIN) came in second.

Bitmine is an Ether treasury company. The report said that as institutional investors seek indirect crypto exposure through listed companies, the trading patterns of so-called crypto treasury stocks such as BMNR are becoming increasingly tied to the price of the underlying digital asset.

Compared with traditional crypto exchange stocks, Bitmine’s business model makes its share price more sensitive to ETH volatility. Market participants also warned that the strong BMNR-ETH relationship means the stock is shaped not only by company performance, but also by the upside and downside swings in Ether itself.
