BitRobot, an embodied AI robotics company, has officially launched its Open Robotics Lab and opened up applications for Access IDs. In a post on X, the firm detailed how users can boost their credentials: by contributing to robotics work, joining special subnet activities, or inviting new users. Participants earn Bolts, the network's reward unit, and collect Badges that mark special milestones. Access IDs serve as a record of a user's contributions across the entire network. For early adopters, any historical subnet points they have accumulated can be converted into Bolts. The lab has already connected several robotics departments and subnets, including navigation teleoperation, egocentric mode, and humanoid teleoperation, with more departments slated to join. This launch follows the news, earlier reported by Foresight News, that Frodobots Lab, a crypto AI research firm, completed an $8 million seed round in February 2025 to fund the creation of BitRobot.

How participation works
According to the company's post on X, users can improve their standing by contributing to robotics work, taking part in special subnet activities, or inviting new users. Participants earn Bolts as reward units and collect Badges that mark special milestones. The Access ID records each user's contributions across the network, and early users can convert their historical subnet points into Bolts.
Connected subnets
The lab has so far integrated several robotics departments/subnets, covering areas such as teleoperated navigation, egocentric mode, and humanoid teleoperation, with more departments expected to join.
Funding background
Foresight News previously reported that crypto AI research firm Frodobots Lab completed an $8 million seed round in February 2025, with proceeds earmarked for launching BitRobot.
