Trader Bonk Guy said Arc Chain could present short-term trading opportunities around its mainnet launch, citing a mix of early ecosystem activity, high-frequency trader interest, and an upcoming integration from FOMO. He said several Arc ecosystem builders had contacted him in recent weeks in an effort to bring high-frequency traders onto the chain early. Bonk Guy added that he had not been paying attention to Arc before, because he expected most onchain activity in this cycle to center on Robinhood, BNB Chain, and Solana. What changed his near-term view, he said, was FOMO’s recent indication that it plans to complete Arc integration within days of the chain going live. Bonk Guy described FOMO as an increasingly important crypto trading app for retail users in the current cycle. He noted that FOMO had not integrated Hyperliquid, Tron, or TON previously, yet those chains still saw tokens reach market capitalizations above $100 million. Based on that setup, he said Arc’s early phase may be worth watching and disclosed that he has bought LONG, the native token of Arc’s main launchpad Long, along with the platform’s top three meme coins. He framed the trade as a high-risk short-term speculation, not a change to his broader conviction in Robinhood Chain, BNB Chain, and Solana.

Trader Bonk Guy said Arc Chain may offer a short-term trading setup around its mainnet launch, adding that he has bought LONG, the native token of Arc’s main launchpad Long, as well as the platform’s top three meme coins.

According to his post on Sept. 14, several builders in the Arc ecosystem had contacted him over the past few weeks in an effort to attract high-frequency traders to participate early once the chain goes live. He said he had not been focused on Arc before, largely because he believes most onchain activity in this cycle will center on Robinhood, BNB Chain, and Solana.

FOMO integration shifted his near-term view

Bonk Guy said FOMO recently disclosed that it expects to complete integration with Arc within days after launch. That update changed his view on Arc’s short-term outlook.

He described FOMO as an increasingly important crypto trading application for retail users in the current cycle. He also noted that FOMO had not previously integrated Hyperliquid, Tron, or TON, while all three chains still produced tokens that reached market capitalizations above $100 million. In his view, if FOMO supports Arc from the start, traders could see a fairly clear short-term opportunity.

Arc is trying to pull in high-frequency traders

Bonk Guy also said Arc has been actively trying to attract high-frequency traders. He said that suggests the project is borrowing from Robinhood’s early strategy of building onchain traffic through active trading.

At the same time, he said his Arc call is limited to a short-term trading window. It does not change his core view on Robinhood Chain, BNB Chain, and Solana, which he still sees as the most important ecosystems to watch in this cycle.

A high-risk speculative trade

For Bonk Guy, the main reason Arc stands out right now is the combination of a new chain, a launchpad, high-frequency traders, and FOMO integration. He said that mix could create trading opportunities in the early stage.

He also warned that any participation tied to this thesis should be viewed as a high-risk short-term speculation.
