On-chain analyst Ai Yi said wallet 0x604…0b21d switched direction after closing a large Bitcoin short at a loss. The address had shorted $45.17 million worth of BTC between Aug. 24 and Aug. 25, then exited the position after taking a loss of $831,000. Early today, the same wallet opened a new 12x leveraged long position in Bitcoin. The long totals 554.71 BTC, with an estimated value of about $43.72 million. According to the monitoring data, the position is now the eighth-largest BTC position on Hyperliquid. The entry price was listed at $80,140.6. At the time of the update, the position was showing an unrealized loss of $748,000. The figures were attributed to Ai Yi’s on-chain tracking cited by Odaily.

Odaily reported, citing on-chain analyst Ai Yi, that wallet 0x604…0b21d had shorted $45.17 million worth of BTC between Aug. 24 and Aug. 25 and exited the trade with a loss of $831,000.

Early today, the same address flipped to a 12x leveraged long of 554.71 BTC, valued at about $43.72 million. The position is the eighth-largest BTC position on Hyperliquid, with an entry price of $80,140.6. It was showing an unrealized loss of $748,000 at the time of the update.
