Bybit has launched IPO Express, a new platform for tokenized equity offerings built on blockchain rails. Its first product gives users exposure to SpaceX through tokenized shares issued with xStocks, and spot trading is expected to start on June 12.

Bybit said the product is structured to provide regulated exposure rather than direct ownership of SpaceX common stock. According to information cited by Wu Blockchain, the tokens maintain a one-to-one linkage with the underlying equity exposure. In its announcement, Bybit also said that the tokenized SpaceX shares are fully backed by xStocks issuers.

SpaceX opens the new tokenized equity lineup

SpaceX is the first company made available through IPO Express. The report notes that the aerospace company remains one of the most valuable private firms in the world. For crypto users, that matters because this corner of the market has typically been limited to venture investors and selected institutions. The wrapper is different now, and the access route is, too.

Interest in private equity tokenization has been rising over the past year. Market participants have been looking for ways to connect blockchain infrastructure with traditional financial assets, and tokenized equities sit within the broader real-world asset, or RWA, category. That segment has become one of the fastest-growing areas in digital assets, drawing increasing attention from trading venues.

Exchanges push deeper into the RWA race

The article says tokenized assets have been drawing more institutional attention, with financial firms expanding work around tokenized funds, Treasuries, and stablecoins. XRP Ledger, Ethereum, and several other networks have also been putting more focus on real-world asset infrastructure. Faster settlement and broader accessibility remain central to the appeal.

Exchanges are now trying to build products around that demand. Bybit’s IPO Express is another attempt to bring traditional finance exposure into crypto markets. As competition increases, tokenized equities may become a new contest area for platforms looking for fresh users and new trading activity.

Expansion continues after Bybit’s recovery efforts

The launch comes months after Bybit moved to restore confidence following the record hack earlier this year. Earlier reporting said the exchange stabilized withdrawals and rebuilt reserves after the attack. Since then, Bybit has continued to expand its product lineup with new trading tools and additional partnerships.

IPO Express shows that exchanges are looking beyond cryptocurrencies alone and moving toward a wider set of on-chain financial products. For now, Bybit has placed tokenized SpaceX exposure at the front of that strategy.
