The first U.S.-listed exchange-traded fund tied to staked TRON exposure is set to begin trading. According to an 8-A registration filing submitted by Canary Capital to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the Canary Staked TRX ETF completed registration on Sept. 8 and is expected to start trading on Sept. 9 under the ticker TRXS. The listing venue shown in the amended filing is Cboe. What sets the fund apart from a standard spot crypto ETF is its staking structure. The TRX held by the fund will be committed to the TRON network’s proof-of-stake system, and staking rewards will be reflected in the fund’s net asset value. That means holders can gain exposure to staking-related returns without handling the staking process themselves. The filings also show a same-day revision to the exchange listing detail. Canary Capital first filed Form 8-A12B with Nasdaq named as the listing venue, then submitted an amended Form 8-A12B/A later that day changing the venue to Cboe. The issuer is Canary Capital Group LLC, a Delaware-registered firm with its principal business address in Brentwood, Tennessee. The filing was signed by CEO Steven McClurg.

The first U.S.-listed ETF linked to staked TRON exposure has completed registration. An 8-A filing submitted by Canary Capital to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission shows that the Canary Staked TRX ETF was registered on Sept. 8, will trade under the ticker TRXS, and is scheduled to begin trading on Sept. 9 on Cboe.

Staking rewards flow into NAV

The fund differs from a standard spot ETF because of its staking feature. TRX held by the fund will be deployed into the TRON network’s proof-of-stake mechanism, and the staking rewards generated there will be reflected in the fund’s net asset value.

That structure allows investors to receive staking-related returns without carrying out the staking process on their own. According to the filing details cited in the report, this is the first exchange-traded fund in the U.S. market to offer staked TRX exposure.

Listing venue was changed in an amended filing

The filing history shows a same-day change to the exchange venue. On Sept. 8, Canary Capital first submitted Form 8-A12B with Nasdaq listed as the exchange. Later the same day, it filed an amended Form 8-A12B/A that changed the listing venue to Cboe.

The final listing information follows the amended version.

Issuer details

The fund sponsor is Canary Capital Group LLC. The company is registered in Delaware and lists its principal business address in Brentwood, Tennessee. The filing was signed by Chief Executive Officer Steven McClurg.

The report said the range of underlying assets for staked crypto ETFs is expanding, with TRX as the latest addition.
