CertiK announced a brand upgrade at TOKEN2049 in Singapore on Oct. 7, saying it will move into its next stage under the positioning "The Trust Layer for Digital Value." The company said the rebrand reflects its mission to build trust infrastructure for the digital economy.

From smart contract audits to broader security and risk management
CertiK said it started with smart contract auditing and later grew into what it described as the world’s largest Web3 security company. The new positioning follows that path and points to a wider push into security and risk management for financial institutions, regulators and enterprises operating in the digital asset ecosystem.
Chief Business Officer Jason Jiang said: "Digital assets are changing how value moves. Institutions that provide digital asset services and regulators responsible for oversight need to combine security with compliance management while maintaining a clear view of risk. This rebrand reflects CertiK’s evolution in meeting those needs and our vision of becoming the trust layer for digital value."
Product and service stack spans monitoring, compliance, supervision and code review
To support that broader positioning, CertiK highlighted its product and service lineup. Its products include Skynet, CertiK Compliance, CertiK Supervision and CertiK AI Auditor, covering continuous security monitoring, compliance risk management, digital asset supervision and AI-assisted code review.
On the services side, the company listed smart contract audits, expert-led formal verification, penetration testing, proof of reserves and node validation. CertiK said the combination of products and services helps clients assess system security and maintain an ongoing view of digital asset risk.

Technical support for policymaking across several jurisdictions
CertiK also said it has provided technical support for digital asset policymaking in the United States, Hong Kong, Singapore and the United Arab Emirates. According to the company, that work involves cooperation with regulators and enterprises with compliance needs, linking technical security assessments with the practical requirements of regulated digital asset markets.
Company says it has served more than 5,500 clients
CertiK said it was founded in 2017 by professors from Yale University and Columbia University, with its business expansion supported by technical expertise in formal verification.
To date, the company said it has served more than 5,500 clients across over 150 countries and regions, identified more than 119,000 code vulnerabilities and helped protect over $600 billion in digital assets.
The rebrand sets the direction for CertiK’s next phase, extending the expertise it built in Web3 security into the broader digital economy while continuing to support builders and regulators in digital asset systems.
