Chenjing Technology has unveiled a full-stack physical AI inspection solution for the steel industry at the 2026 Unitree Partner Ecosystem Conference. The system uses a Unitree quadruped robot as its hardware platform and combines it with the company’s self-developed spatial intelligence camera and control brain. According to the announcement, the setup is designed to handle autonomous perception, positioning, navigation, and fully automated inspection work in the complex operating environment of steel plants. The company said the solution has already been deployed at several steelmakers, including Xiangtan Iron and Steel and Jinnan Iron and Steel, and has moved into routine on-site operation. Its core workflow covers spatial data collection and positioning, autonomous movement with dynamic obstacle avoidance, automated equipment data inspection, and data return and archiving, creating traceable digital inspection records. Chenjing Technology’s founder said the hazardous and complex conditions inside steel plants serve as a key testing ground for aligning physical AI models with real-world robots.
