The survey also reported 1.26 trillion yuan in R&D spending, 1.97 trillion yuan in exports, 1.30 trillion yuan in taxes, and total employment of 11.9633 million people. Net profit for the 500 companies totaled 1.83 trillion yuan, or 3.652 billion yuan per company on average, up 1.31%. By sector mix, companies in the secondary industry and manufacturing accounted for 74.40% and 70.60% of the total, respectively. Manufacturing revenue came to 32.22 trillion yuan, up 8.73%.
Among other reported indicators, firms that submitted full data posted total R&D spending of 1.26 trillion yuan, with average R&D intensity at 2.95%. Total exports were 1.97 trillion yuan, up 11.25%. Total tax payments reached 1.30 trillion yuan, and total employment stood at 11.9633 million people.
