Circle’s Arc blockchain is scheduled to go live on Sept. 16, and traders are already positioning ahead of the launch. The setup has drawn attention because the earlier debut of the Robinhood chain saw tokens such as CASHCAT post 1,000x and even 10,000x returns, creating expectations that Arc could produce a similar burst of speculative activity. That has pushed on-chain capital to look for early entry points before the network officially opens. A third-party venue is already offering swaps between USDC on Ethereum mainnet and USDC on Arc. Market data cited in the report shows Arc-based USDC trading at nearly double the value of Ethereum mainnet USDC. A leading platform involved in this market has matched 11,660 swaps with cumulative volume above $5 million, while charging a 3% service fee on these transactions. Several crypto-native platforms have also said they will support Arc as soon as it launches, including NFT marketplace OpenSea and meme coin platform fomo. Circle co-founder Jeremy Allaire responded positively soon after fomo previewed its Arc support, a move the report described as a potential sign of support for the crypto-native community.

Arc, the blockchain under Circle, is set to officially launch on Sept. 16, according to ChainCatcher.

The upcoming debut is drawing early positioning from traders and on-chain capital. The report linked that interest to what happened after the Robinhood chain went live, when tokens led by CASHCAT delivered 1,000x and even 10,000x returns. That performance has fueled expectations that Arc could see a similar round of speculative activity once it opens.

USDC swaps into Arc are already being offered

A third-party platform has already appeared in the market offering swaps from USDC on Ethereum mainnet into USDC on Arc. Data cited in the report shows that USDC on Arc is currently trading at nearly a 1x premium versus USDC on Ethereum mainnet.

A leading platform in this segment has matched 11,660 swaps so far, with cumulative transaction volume topping $5 million. The platform charges a 3% service fee on these trades.

Crypto-native platforms line up support

Several crypto-native platforms had already said they would support Arc as soon as the chain goes live. The list includes NFT marketplace OpenSea and meme coin platform fomo.

After fomo previewed its Arc integration, Circle co-founder Jeremy Allaire responded positively soon after. The report described that response as a potential signal of support for the crypto-native community.

Whether Arc can continue the recent momentum around on-chain trading after launch remains for the market to decide.
