Bitcoin ZK-rollup project Citrea said it has temporarily suspended bridge transfers for ctUSD, USDC, USDT, WBTC and CTR after a security incident involving third-party application Zentra Finance. The move was described as precautionary. Citrea said its core protocol and bridge contracts were not affected by the incident, and funds held outside Zentra Finance were not impacted. It also said the rest of the network remains operational. The team is now investigating the incident together with the Zentra team and said bridging services for the affected assets will resume once safety is confirmed. Citrea added that it will continue to share updates as the investigation progresses.
