CME FedWatch data shows markets assigning a 77.9% probability that the U.S. Federal Reserve will keep interest rates unchanged through October, while the probability of a cumulative 25 basis point hike stands at 22.1%. For December, the probability of no rate change drops to 14.8%. The odds of a cumulative 25 basis point increase rise to 67.3%, and the probability of a cumulative 50 basis point increase is 17.9%.
