Coinbase said it plans to relaunch Coinbase Pro by the end of the year and has completed its integration with Deribit to form the Coinbase Global Exchange. Speaking at Token2049 in Singapore, the company said it has connected U.S. and international derivatives markets into a single liquidity pool for the first time. In the coming weeks, Coinbase expects to roll out Deribit-powered options, spot margin, and a unified portfolio. Eligible traders outside the United States are set to receive access to options trading first, while U.S. retail users are expected to gain access later this year. U.S. institutional clients will be able to trade Deribit options and perpetual futures through Coinbase Prime. Registration is already open, and options trading is expected to go live in the next few weeks. Coinbase also said institutional users will be able to trade spot, futures, perpetuals, and options on the same platform, alongside custody, financing, and staking services, according to The Block.
