Coinbase’s tokenized stocks are now available on the Base deployment of Aave V4, allowing eligible users in non-U.S. jurisdictions to post selected equity tokens as collateral and borrow USDC. The list of supported assets includes AAPLc, AMZNc, GOOGLc, METAc, MSFTc, NVDAc, and TSLAc. The Aave V4 instance was deployed by Aave Labs on behalf of Aave DAO, while risk analysis for the setup was completed by LlamaRisk. Chainlink, serving as Coinbase’s official oracle solution, supplies pricing data for the tokenized stocks, including both the underlying share price and the issuer multiplier. The update connects Coinbase’s tokenized equity products with Aave’s lending infrastructure on Base and sets out the framework under which these assets can be used inside the protocol.
