According to ChainCatcher, Coinglass data shows that total liquidations across the crypto market reached $361 million over the past 24 hours. Long liquidations totaled $163 million, while short liquidations totaled $198 million. Based on this breakdown, short liquidations were higher than long liquidations during the reported period.
Bitcoin and Ethereum liquidation figures
For major crypto assets, Bitcoin long liquidations reached $26.848 million, while Bitcoin short liquidations reached $70.3038 million. Ethereum long liquidations totaled $28.1364 million, and Ethereum short liquidations stood at $40.7054 million. These figures are part of Coinglass’s latest 24-hour liquidation statistics for the broader crypto derivatives market.
Coinglass data also shows that 119,781 traders worldwide were liquidated over the same 24-hour period. The largest single liquidation order occurred on Binance - XAGUSDT, with a value of $3.304 million. In leveraged futures trading, liquidation generally refers to the forced closing of a position when its margin is insufficient under an exchange’s rules.
