Bitcoin and Ethereum liquidation breakdown
By asset, Bitcoin long liquidations stood at $10.8736 million, while Bitcoin short liquidations reached $40.657 million. For Ethereum, long liquidations totaled $12.1028 million, and short liquidations came in at $37.2136 million. These figures come from Coinglass statistics covering futures liquidation activity over the latest 24-hour window.
During the same period, 69,433 traders worldwide were liquidated. The largest single liquidation order occurred on Binance - BTCUSDT, with a value of $3.435 million. Liquidation data reflects forced position closures in leveraged trading when margin requirements are no longer met during price movement.
