According to TechFlow, citing CoinGlass data on June 11, total liquidations across the cryptocurrency market reached $335 million over the past 24 hours. The liquidation data showed pressure on both sides of the market, with long liquidations totaling $195 million and short liquidations totaling $139 million during the same period.
BTC, ETH and SOL liquidation breakdown
Among the major assets listed in the data, BTC recorded $87.0469 million in liquidations. This included $33.1527 million in long liquidations and $53.8942 million in short liquidations. In the BTC figures, short liquidations were higher than long liquidations.
ETH recorded $61.1747 million in liquidations over the past 24 hours. Of that amount, $36.0346 million came from long positions and $25.1401 million came from short positions. SOL recorded $9.1787 million in liquidations, including $5.1967 million from long positions and $3.9820 million from short positions. For both ETH and SOL, long liquidations exceeded short liquidations in the reported period.
123,968 traders liquidated
CoinGlass data also showed that 123,968 people were liquidated over the past 24 hours. In crypto derivatives trading, liquidation generally refers to the forced closing of a leveraged position when margin conditions or exchange risk controls are triggered. In this set of data, both long and short positions experienced sizable forced closures, matching the description of liquidations on both sides.
The largest single liquidation order in the past 24 hours occurred on Binance in the XAGUSDT trading pair, with a value of $3.304 million. All figures above are from CoinGlass data covering cryptocurrency market liquidations during the latest 24-hour window cited by TechFlow.
