TechFlow reported on June 11 that, according to CoinGlass data, total liquidations across the cryptocurrency market reached $335 million over the past 24 hours. The figures showed liquidations on both sides of the market, with long positions accounting for $195 million and short positions accounting for $139 million.
BTC, ETH and SOL liquidation breakdown
Among the listed assets, BTC recorded $87.0469 million in liquidations. This included $33.1527 million in long liquidations and $53.8942 million in short liquidations. In the BTC data provided, short liquidations were higher than long liquidations.
ETH recorded $61.1747 million in total liquidations, including $36.0346 million from long positions and $25.1401 million from short positions. SOL saw $9.1787 million in liquidations, with $5.1967 million from long positions and $3.9820 million from short positions. For both ETH and SOL, long liquidations were higher than short liquidations in the reported 24-hour period.
123,968 traders liquidated, largest order on Binance
CoinGlass data also showed that 123,968 people were liquidated during the same 24-hour window. Liquidation data tracks leveraged positions that are forcibly closed, and the reported figures are usually categorized by trading direction, asset and platform.
The largest single liquidation over the past 24 hours occurred on Binance, on the XAGUSDT trading pair, with a value of $3.304 million. All figures above come from CoinGlass data cited in TechFlow’s report on the crypto market’s liquidation activity over the past 24 hours.
