CryptoQuant analyst Amr Taha said wallets holding between 100 and 1,000 BTC accumulated a net 73,300 BTC over the past 60 days, the highest level since April 21. Even so, that figure remains about 20% below the April 21 peak of 91,920 BTC. At the same time, the cohort holding more than 10,000 BTC stayed in positive territory with growth of 43,300 BTC. Taha contrasted the current setup with the pattern seen from April to May, when the over-10,000 BTC group fell to around -40,000 BTC near May 14 and Bitcoin later dropped about 25%. The analyst said the current whale structure is completely different from the earlier period.
