Danske Bank strategists said the U.S. dollar is still holding firm against major currencies, with elevated Treasury yields and expectations for a hawkish Federal Reserve continuing to support the greenback. The bank said U.S. 10-year and 30-year Treasury yields could rise to 6%, pointing to sustained pressure from the rates backdrop. It also cited a relative strength index reading of 73.6, indicating that the U.S. Dollar Index has posted a strong advance. Even so, the strategists said the room for further gains may be limited.
