DefiLlama has rolled out a universal token ratings dashboard in partnership with Forgd, a Web3 investment banking and advisory platform. The dashboard assigns scores from 0 to 100 to more than 100 DeFi tokens and also maps those scores to letter grades ranging from AAA to CCC, using a format modeled on traditional credit ratings. According to the brief, the ratings are updated on an ongoing basis as token-related metrics change. The stated goal is to standardize how crypto tokens are assessed and give traders and investors a more transparent, consistent yardstick. DefiLlama said the product is designed to improve transparency and trust in DeFi, where measurement standards often vary across metrics and platforms.
