Crypto trader Doctor Profit said on X that he previously exited his Bitcoin holdings and opened a large short position when BTC topped out near $124,000 last year. He later closed that short when the market sold off and Bitcoin fell to around $60,000, then switched to buying spot. According to his latest post, all short positions were closed in the $60,000 area before he began accumulating spot exposure. Now, one year later, he says he has once again opened short positions in Bitcoin, this time in the $86,500 to $89,500 range. He added that he also placed large short orders between $88,000 and $89,500. The remarks were cited by ChainCatcher as a market update.

He said he later closed that short after the market sell-off in 10 and 11 pushed Bitcoin down to around $60,000, and then turned to spot buying. Doctor Profit added that he closed all of his short positions in the $60,000 area and began buying spot.
He also said that, one year later, he has once again opened Bitcoin shorts in the $86,500 to $89,500 range, with large short orders placed between $88,000 and $89,500.
