A dormant Ethereum wallet has shown signs of trimming its position after years of inactivity, according to on-chain analyst Ai Yi (@ai_9684xtpa). On Sept. 14, the analyst said address 0x08E…03e6b, whose accumulation history can be traced back seven years, sent 1,250 ETH to MAX Exchange around two hours earlier. The transfer was valued at about $3.14 million based on the figures cited in the report. The wallet had received 1,500 ETH in September 2021, when Ether was priced at $3,159.27, and had not moved or sold the holdings during the period. If the latest exchange deposit leads to a sale, the position would be down by more than 20% from the entry price referenced in the report. The transaction was described as a suspected reduction in holdings rather than a confirmed sale.
