A long-inactive Ethereum wallet has shown signs of trimming its position, according to monitoring cited by ChainCatcher. The address, 0x08E…03e6b, can be traced back to a position built seven years ago. Data in the report says the wallet received 1,500 ETH in September 2021, when Ether was priced at $3,159.27. The holdings had not been moved or sold during the period that followed. About two hours before the report, however, the address sent 1,250 ETH to MAX Exchange, valued at roughly $3.14 million based on the figures provided. If the transferred ETH has been sold, the position would represent a loss of more than 20% from the cited entry price. The report describes the move as a suspected reduction in holdings rather than a confirmed sale, and attributes the wallet activity to on-chain analyst monitoring.

ChainCatcher reported, citing monitoring by an on-chain analyst, that a dormant Ethereum wallet appears to have started reducing its holdings.
